Micah Handell was born at Christus St Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe, NM. He grew up in the mountains of Northern New Mexico and Western Montana where he discovered a love for fishing, skiing, and mountain climbing. Micah graduated high school from the Banff Mountain Ski Academy where he received the top academic student award. Micah went on to attend McGill University in Montreal QC where he studied Mathematics and Chemistry and Minored in Biotechnology. After graduating from University Micah’s interest turned toward Finance. At the age of 26, Micah left his home in New Mexico to work on Wall Street with the investment banking firm National Securities, where he worked as a registered representative placing new securities offerings to the public. Quickly, Micah learned he missed the mountains and the peaceful open spaces of the southwest. In 2018 Micah left AXA Advisors, LLC to work full time with Interstate Medicare, where Micah works to secure tailored Healthcare solutions for individuals and families. In his spare time, Micah enjoys skiing, fishing, mountain biking, rock climbing, and spending time with his beautiful partner, Jeannette, and their three dogs.
